Westchester Restoration & Interiors Inc. (WRI), formerly known as Architectural Restoration & Contracting (ARC) was founded by Joseph P. Serra in 1999.

 

WRI is a client based Construction Company that was built solely through word of mouth; by which we are known for our quality of work, dependability and budget. We especially excel in our mindful attention to our clients’ present needs throughout the process of their project as well as their future project goals. 

 

Early on, Joseph P. Serra had focused his educational studies in Historic Preservation, Architecture, and Construction Management at Roger Williams University. Parallel to those areas of studies Joseph also dedicated a period of time immersed in the Preservation & Conservation Philosophies & Practices throughout Great Britain.

 

Serra also played a fundamental Role in the development & and practical training of the First Preservation Carpenter Apprenticeship Program established through the Institute for Preservation Training (IPT). He was also hands-on, directly educating vocational high school students with fundamental trade & safety skills in the Structural Wood Working Program at Blue Hills Regional Vocational Technical High School in Randolph, MA.
